Description

Ivan Philipovich Tarabrov was a well known workmaster and the owner of a workshop of gold and silversmiths from 1893-1913. By 1897 he had forty-six silversmiths working for him specialising in works of art ranging from tea-glass holders to oklads for icons. For another icon in this sale by Ivan Tarabrov see lot 286.
