Description

This imposing map of Pecos County is largely given to delineations of the reserves and survey blocks of the Texas and Pacific Railway and the Houston and Great Northern Railway. Fort Stockton is also located, as is the Spring of Escondido, a watering and resting place on the San Antonio-El Paso Road for stagecoaches and other travelers, now called Tunas Spring.
