Description

The original life-size marble figure made in 1896-97, is now in the possession of the Museum der Bildenden Künste, Leipzig. It was produced by the foundry H. Gladenbeck & Sohn in four different sizes from 1902, including one life-size.

Another example sold Sotheby's London, European Sculpture and Works of Art, 5th November 2002, lot 198.
