Description

Petrus Stagman was the son of Jeremias Stagman, who was also a silversmith. Jeremias was born in Erfurt but settled in amsterdam in 1925. His two sons, Egidius and Petrus both followed their father's footsteps and became silversmiths. Although Petrus trained in his father's workshop, he became an independent Master in 1740, the same year as his brother received Master.
