Description

Gary Graffman is a world-renowned American classical pianist and music educator. He was the President and Director of the Curtis Institute of Music from 1986-2006, where he still teaches, and his students include Lang Lang and Yuja Wang. He and his late wife Naomi, a painter, had a deep interest in Chinese art and their collection of classical paintings and calligraphy as well as early Chinese works of art, still expanding, reflect this extraordinary aesthetic, curiosity and knowledge.
