Under UV: a green varnish fluoresces unevenly and in a streaky manner, which largely obscures the picture surface, though there are a few pinpoint dots of inpainting in the white fur near the center right edge; a small retouch to carpet near the lower center edge and to the 'a' of the signature; and a small spot at the left upper edge to address prior frame abrasion.
