Sphere diameter 21 in.; 535mm. comprised of two sets of 18 engraved and hand-colored gores; some lifting of gores at poles and paper loss to Borneo. Graduated brass meridian circle set in a wooden horizon ring covered with engraved paper listing months, zodiac signs, wind directions, months, etc; the paper lifting slightly with a a few tiny chips in two spots, meridian rubbed. mahogany base with three turned tapered reeded legs on brass castors with y-shaped stretcher and circular brass compass with needles and engraved paper dial.
