Overall the condition of the andirons is good, with some wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There is dust and light surface dirt throughout, particularly in the crevices. There are several minor nicks and scratches, including to the bronze figures. There is some greening to one of the metal bases. One of the figures is slightly loose on the base but stable. There is corrosion to the iron brackets, consistent with the material.
