The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the blue is brighter and more vibrant in the original.
The work is in very good condition. All collaged elements are stable. Very close inspection reveals isolated and tiny specks of paint loss to the edges of the work and a tiny network of tension cracks to the lower left edge. Extremely close inspection reveals a few isolated areas of pressed impasto peaks and light hairline scratches to the metal element both of which are in keeping with the artist's working process. No restoration is apparent under ultra violet light.
