This May, Sotheby’s is thrilled to bring to market a robust offering of contemporary masterpieces, highlighted by Mark Rothko’s seminal Untitled, 1960, coming from the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The Contemporary Art Evening Auction will be further distinguished by works from the collection of David Teiger; proceeds from the sales will benefit the Teiger Foundation, one of the world’s most significant art foundations, set up to support and promote excellence in contemporary art.
