When Time Slows Down – The Art of Puerh Tea

Hong Kong | December 2021

"A clean table, light shines through the window; a scroll painting; a bowl of tea; an incense burner; a calligraphy script." Chen Jiru, a literati from Ming dynasty, captured the ultimate beauty in tea drinking.

What sets Puerh apart from other types of tea is that its flavour and texture keep on developing as it ages. Within this natural fermentation process is the passage of time and the evolution of society. In this video, Kevin Ching, Executive Chairman of Sotheby's Asia, shares his life-long love of Puerh and the value of well-aged Puerh tea.
