A. Alfred Taubman owned two exceptional works by Edgar Degas—Danseuses en blanc and Femme nue, de dos, se coiffant (Femme se peignant). These extraordinary pictures, which illustrate Degas’ tremendous talent as a pastellist, are important highlights of The Collection of A. Alfred Taubman Masterworks auction on 4 November in New York.
