This November 23rd Sotheby's is proud to sell, from the Dorothy Tapper Goldman Collection, a 2 part series of Constitutions and Related Documents. Part 1 of the Collection will focus on the foment that led to American Independence and Confederation and the writings that influenced the framers of the Constitution and those who fought for its ratification. Part 2 will be an unreserved online sale dedicated to historically important material and will feature a special concentration of state constitutions. Between Parts I and 2, the Goldman Collection will offer at least one constitution from every state, Delaware to Alaska. All Proceeds from the sale will go directly to the Dorothy Tapper Goldman Foundation focused on giving civics education to the next generations of this country.
