Coming to Sotheby’s this March, Snow Crash – an auction of six physical and digital items connected to the revolutionary 1992 science fiction novel by Neal Stephenson, will be offered alongside Infocalypse, an open edition collection of digital art created to mark the 30th anniversary of Snow Crash. With lots consigned directly by Stephenson, artist Tony Sheeder (who collaborated with Stephenson on the original graphic novel concept which inspired Snow Crash, entitled Dioxin Posse), as well as master sword-makers Wētā Workshop, this sale presents a collection of items with impeccable provenance, which come together to tell the incredible story of one of the most groundbreaking and influential novels of the modern era.
Snow Crash will be on view at Sotheby’s New York form 27 February to 6 March leading up to the auction on 6 March.
