Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Sotheby’s in Asia, this spring season Sotheby’s Hong Kong will bring an extraordinary series of sales from 1 through 8 April, including an exciting evening of auctions on 5 April featuring modern and contemporary art, and a special cross-category luxury sale. Headlining the evening will be the auction debut of a spectacular masterpiece by Zhang Daqian, painted in 1973, the very same year Sotheby’s Hong Kong established its permanent presence in the region.
