Over the past two years artist Cai Xiaosong has been working on a series of Contemporary Ink Art works called Song—Perception. During that time he has created over twenty new paintings exclusively for Perception: Cai Xiaosong, a selling exhibition to be held at Sotheby’s Hong Kong from 5 - 19 May. This new series manifests itself in a mature painting style, not only demonstrating confidence in brushwork but also emphasizing movement and maintaining resonance in overall compositions.
