Two unique artworks by Pablo Picasso show the voracious artist's unending search for inspiration. Le Peintre et son modèle, 1963, renders the iconic subject of the model in the studio much like the masters of Rembrandt, Velásquez and Rubens before him, while a bust of Françoise Gilot, Tête de femme, 1951, shows Picasso in control of his medium, incorporating found objects to create the vivacious likeness of his famous lover and muse.
