Before the exhibition for Sotheby’s upcoming Impressionist & Modern Art and Contemporary Art auctions opened last week, Simon Shaw and Grégoire Billault gave us a preview of the installation that pairs contemporary artworks alongside Impressionist and Modern masters. With only one week left to view the exhibition, the combination of these remarkable works of art — more than 750 — on display in our dramatically renovated New York galleries is not to be missed.
