In this episode of Frank’s Files, Frank Everett takes a closer look at Magnificent Jewels 2020. To start off, the masterpiece of the sale is Suzanne Belperron’s Exceptional Ruby and Diamond ‘Plastron Necklace,’ from 1945, which can be described as the quintessential Belperron piece. Additionally, the sale features a Cartier, Opal, Diamond and Ruby Brooch in the shape of a bird from the 1950s as well as a tiger brooch from René Boivin. Also from Cartier is an Attractive Sapphire and Diamond Bracelet, crafted from the rarest sapphires and a Gold Bracelet that is a wonder of design.
