This spring, Sotheby’s is honored to present the Robert Youngman Collection of Chinese Jade at auction in New York and Hong Kong. In this First Look, explore dynamic animals and mythological beasts in a collection of treasures spanning from the Neolithic to Qing dynasty. Over 70 jades ranging from the Song to Qing dynasties will be offered in New York, including a rare Song-Ming dynasty yellow jade carving of a tapir and a small Song dynasty white and gray jade carving of a hare. Part II of the collection will be offered in Hong Kong in April 2019.
