Emma Dabiri, historian and author of ‘Don’t Touch my Hair’ guides us through the history of natural hair across Africa, with emphasis on Nigeria, from European Colonialism to post-independence. In this episode of Expert Voices, find out how the journey of afro hair acceptance has peaked and troughed through the years, and where it stands today in Africa, as well as across the globe.
