For its Design XX-XXI sale on May 28, Sotheby's Paris has invited the co-founder of Astier de Villatte, the famous Parisian house that evokes a true art of living, a subtle blend of craftsmanship and fantasy. Together they will unveil a selection of works highlighting the creations of renowned designers.
With 215 lots signed by Alberto and Diego Giacometti, Jean Royère, Jean Prouvé, Guy de Rougemont, Charlotte Perriand, Joris Laarman, Maria Pergay, Humberto and Fernando Campana and François-Xavier & Claude Lalanne, this sale will showcase the major decorative arts artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.
