This summer, Sotheby's is honored to present Treasures from Chatsworth – a rare, public exhibition of works from the fabled Devonshire Collection of England's Chatsworth House. This amazing exhibition represents the culmination of over five centuries of collecting, and includes the finest examples of contemporary art, old master paintings, historical furniture, and jewelry. Coinciding with Sotheby’s 275th anniversary as well as the opening of our expanded and reimagined New York galleries, the exhibition will be designed by the award-winning creative director and designer David Korins, whose work includes the set designs for the Broadway musical phenomena Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen. Free of charge and open to the public, Treasures from Chatsworth, presented by Rocco Forte Hotels, will be on view from 29 June through 13 September 2019 in Sotheby’s renovated New York galleries, located at 1334 York Avenue.
