Personality and Provenance - The Pristine Cellar of Dr. Daniel Salzman

Launch Slideshow

Dr. Daniel Salzman is a Professor in the Departments of Neuroscience and Psychiatry at Columbia University. Daniel is also a lifelong devotee of classical winemaking, reflected in his highly focused wine collection charting the highest points in Burgundy, the Northern Rhône, and Germany.

With almost no exceptions, the wines in this sale were purchased by Daniel — on release, from the most reputable merchants — and stored with utmost care. Bidders will delight in this opportunity to acquire original-owner, legendary wines from DRC, Roumier, Rousseau, Jayer, Chave, Clape, Verset, and the mythical, bygone domaine of Marius Gentaz, among others.

In the following pages, we are pleased to present several highlights from the Daniel’s pristine cellar.
