On 15 August Sotheby’s Los Angeles celebrated the creative vision of Mario Testino with a private viewing of highlights from the legendary fashion photographer’s private collection. Amid show-stopping works by Richard Prince, Albert Oehlen and Marilyn Minter, guests sipped cocktails and mingled with hosts Candy Coleman, George O’Dell and Andrea Fiuczynski, Sotheby’s Chairman of the Americas. On view in Los Angeles through 17 August, the works will continue to travel to Sotheby’s global locations ahead of the upcoming auction Shake It Up to support Lima’s Museo MATE, founded by Testino in 2012 to support Peruvian artists.
