On 6 February, Waterkeeper Alliance president Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Jeff Koons hosted Art for Water benefitting Waterkeeper Alliance, a celebration of creativity and clean water at Sotheby’s New York. Guest DJ Alexandra Richards provided music during cocktails as guests bid on silent auction works by Chloe Wise, Alexis Rockman, Walton Ford, and Dustin Yellin among other artists who joined Kerry Kennedy, Cheryl Hines, Alysia Reiner, Nicole Miller and many more to support Waterkeeper Alliance’s efforts to defend and protect nearly 2.5 million miles of waterways on six continents. In the main auction room, Sotheby’s Michael Macaulay conducted a live auction of works by Jeff Koons, Ed Ruscha, Jonas Wood, Mark Grotjahn and more. Click ahead for images from the evening.
