With 1,000 works of art from five different auctions, Sotheby’s Fall 2016 Asia Week exhibition brings 4,000 years of history into our New York galleries. In addition to ceramics, handscrolls and classical Chinese paintings, vistiors will see works from the collections of Roy and Marilyn Papp, as well as that of legendary art dealer Sakamoto Gorō. Adding a new dimension to the Saturday at Sotheby’s: Asian Art exhibition, interior designer Jarret Yoshida has created an exhibition space using bold colour and wallpaper by Elitis.
