The Russian Pictures sale on 5 June 2018 was led by Alexander Yakovlev’s Harlequin which soared to £730,000 after competitive bidding in the saleroom. Other highlights included Pavel Tchelitchew’s Excelsior which sold for £418,000, and Vera Ermolava’s rare Suprematist Design for a Façade which achieved over eight times its low estimate reaching £262,000.
