This autumn, Sotheby’s has asked Alex Eagle to curate selections from two of Sotheby’s upcoming jewelry sales – Signed Jewels Online and Fine Jewels Online. Alex is the creative director of her eponymous retail concept store Alex Eagle Studio, which launched in 2014 on London's Walton Street before moving to Lexington Street in 2016, and of her own collection of luxury essentials that focuses on high quality fabrics and enduring designs.
She is a frequent collaborator with high end specialist brands and manufacturers but her signature ethos revolves around curating a tight edit of items – ready-to-wear fashion, homeware, artwork and design – and presenting them in an inspiring and relaxed shopping environment. She has since built up something of empire with outposts of retail and co-working space "The Store X" in Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire, Soho House Berlin and London.
Here, she talks through her picks from Signed Jewels and offers up some tips on how to style her favourite pieces.
