Topics discussed by the panel included women in photography, the expansion of the photography market and the importance of creating a like-minded network of people in the field. Brandei Estes urged guests to continue the conversation with panelists after the discussion; “When you are collecting anything, whether a coin, a chinese vase or a photograph, it is so important to have these relationships” she said, “and to build knowledge through the different people in that ecosystem”. The exhibition, which runs until the 16 May, includes important works by Hiroshimi Sugimoto, Peter Lindbergh, Helmut Newton, and Chris Levine, who was in attendance at the reception.
