On 13 April in Culver City, RM Sotheby’s, Quintessentially and Hennessy created a one-of-a-kind luxurious experience. With precision as its uniting theme, the event presented rare opportunities to see cars from RM Sotheby’s upcoming auctions and taste Hennessy Paradis Impérial, a spirit nonpareil created by Yann Fillioux, the seventh generation Master Blender from the Fillioux family. Ian Kelleher of RM Sotheby’s discussed some of the extraordinary automobiles on view in their California showroom, including Michael Schumacher’s 2001 Ferrari Formula One car, the 1985 Porsche 959 “Paris Dakar” and the 1957 Maserati Sports Special. Following the talk, guests discovered more about the process of making Cognac, thus deepening their appreciation for the Hennessy Paradis Impérial ($3,000/bottle) tasting to follow. The night concluded with a cigar and Cognac pairing experience among RM Sotheby’s many show-stopping vehicles. Click ahead for images from the evening.
