On 22 September, highlights from the upcoming Bowie/Collector sale continued their worldwide tour with a stop in San Francisco. In an industrial-chic space that once housed the offices of Periscope, Sotheby’s clients and guests such as Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, Bryan Meehan of local coffee roaster Blue Bottle, and tech entrepreneur Trevor Traina enjoyed cocktails and an exclusive preview of works by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Frank Auerbach, Harold Gilman and more.
