Over the span of four centuries, the Cavendish family has assembled one of the world’s most magnificent and diverse private collections of art. Among the treasures housed at Chatsworth is an extraordinary collection of Old Master Drawings that ranks alongside the Royal Collection at Windsor Castle in its remarkable scope and quality. Many of the more than 3,000 drawings, which include the work of masters such as da Vinci, Titian, Rembrandt and Rubens, have not been publicly displayed in decades.
