S otheby's is honored to present Property from the Seymour and Evelyn Holtzman Collection across a series of Live and Online auctions beginning in the Fall 2024 through Spring 2025. Thoughtfully assembled for decades, the Holtzman collection features some of greatest artisans of the 20th century such as Norman Rockwell, Pablo Picasso and Louis Comfort Tiffany. A native of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania where he lived with his beloved wife Evelyn, Seymour Holtzman was an American entrepreneur and businessman. The owner of the Chicago-based Jewelry retailer CD Peacock, Inc., the Holtzmans always had a penchant for fine objects which reflected their discerning taste as collectors. Dedicated philanthropists, the Holtzmans were contributors to the Cleveland Clinic and Seymour was honored as "Humanitarian of the Year" by the Cardinal Cushing School and Training Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
