Masters Week 2019 presents an array of exciting auctions spanning six centuries of impressive Old Master Paintings, Drawings, Sculpture, 19th Century European Art, and Decorative Art. The Female Triumphant, a carefully curated auction event featured across multiple auctions, highlights the lives and work of pioneering female artists from the 15th to 19th centuries. The week of live auctions culminates with a single owner sale from a distinguished American collection. Masters Week also includes two online-only auctions of Old Master Paintings and 19th Century European Art.
Additionally, a selection of portraits of influential and prominent American women in the art world from Dutch photographer Carla van de Puttelaar’s highly regarded series Artfully Dressed: Women in the Art World will be on view alongside Masters Week.
Exhibitions will open to the public in New York City on Friday, 25 January.
