Arts of the Middle East and India

London | October 2018

T his October’s fourth edition of Arts of the Middle East and India brings together three sales: Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art, 20th Century Art / Middle East, and Arts of the Islamic World. These sales cover a wide spectrum of artistic tradition, featuring both established and emerging contemporary artists from the South Asian Subcontinent and the Middle East, Turkey and Iran as well as works of art produced under Islamic rule from the eighth to nineteenth centuries. The week will be on view at Sotheby’s New Bond Street galleries from the 19-24 October, offering collectors a rare opportunity to acquire works covering over a thousand years, celebrating the diverse regions in which they were produced.
