The starry world of Camelot became associated with the world of the newly-elected President Kennedy, who much admired the musical. A film version was released in 1967.

Artist: Francisco Fernandez Zarza-Pérez, known as Jano (1922-1992) Unframed: 80 1/2 x 38 3/4 in. (204.5 x 99.4 cm) The artwork on this large format poster is unique to this size piece. It was designed to be pasted onto billboards, and therefore only unused examples survived. Very rare, has only surfaced a few times. This musical romance was directed by Vincente Minnelli, and stars Leslie Caron as Gigi and Maurice Chevalier. The screenplay was written by Alan Jay Lerner, and features songs with lyrics by Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, which were arranged and conducted by André Previn.

(104 x 69 cm) Mr. Sohal met Leslie Caron at a special screening at the BFI, London. It is rare for anyone to have an original poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs and video/dvd sleeves. It is unusual to have the film's poster with you when you try to obtain signatures. This musical romance was directed by Vincente Minnelli, and stars Leslie Caron as Gigi and Maurice Chevalier.
