Nike Air Force 1 Hyperstrike Scarr’s Pizza is considered to be one of only 48 pairs. This Air Force 1 Hyperstrike was dropped in 2019 to friends and family of the much-loved New York Lower East Side establishment&nbsp;Scarr’s Pizza.&nbsp;Founder Scarr Pimentel and team member Audie Villot had the idea to create an Air Force 1 that reflected the quality of the OG versions they grew up with and to commemorate their home city. Two years later, with the support of DJ Clark Kent, the unique collaboration with Nike was celebrated among the community who helped fuel their success.&nbsp;&nbsp; Pimentel and Villot brought the same meticulousness to their city’s signature sneaker, as they do to their city’s signature food. Having referenced their personal collections for the build, they ensured the double-stacked mismatched Swoosh logos measured one inch at the base—a detail that would be noted by true OG aficionados. The shoe is embroidered with Scarr’s Pizza logos at the heel and Orchard Street address on the tongue. The phone number is printed in 3M material at the forefoot. Released in 2019, the Air Max 97 “Neon Seoul” originated from the Nike: On Air contest. The competition brought together thousands of people to workshops ranging from New York City, Paris, London, Tokyo, Shanghai and Seoul, and allowed them a chance to create an Air Max design inspired by their communities. 18 finalists were narrowed down to six winners, and the pair featured was created by Gwang Shin. The design represents her hometown of Seoul, South Korea, and takes inspiration from the city’s famed neon signs. Through early collaborations with international brands such as Stüssy and adidas, BAPE quickly established itself as one of Japan’s leading cultural trendsetters. This pair is not only an extremely rare pair of BAPE x KAWS FS-029 Chompers from the height of BAPEs influence, but is also from Nigo’s personal collection. Nigo is, to this day, one of the most relevant international personalities in the design, fashion and art world. Outside of being a limited release with a rumored less than 1,000 pairs produced, this was the first use of the now-iconic pink SB Dunk box. The shoe features a black leather upper with pink overlays to provide contrast. The Louis Vuitton and Nike expression of the “Air Force 1” by Virgil Abloh.&nbsp;The Nike Air Force 1, celebrating its 40th year, was designed in 1982 and is one of the most successful and iconic shoes ever created. On the occasion of the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring-Summer 2022 runway show, Virgil Abloh collaborated with Nike to design 47 pairs of bespoke Air Force 1s, fusing the trainer’s classic codes with the insignia and materials of Louis Vuitton in homage to the hip-hop culture that shaped him. The sneakers were made with materials employed in Abloh’s Louis Vuitton men’s collections, and styled with his signature quotation marks, echoing the written graphics Abloh often used in his work. The individual styles designed for the show were made by Louis Vuitton in its shoe manufacture in Fiesso d’Artico, Italy.&nbsp;The sneakers (limited to 200 total pairs), entirely made in leather, were embellished with Louis Vuitton’s emblematic Monogram and Damier patterns with natural cowhide piping.
