As a part of Nike's 2008 1World campaign, Nike partnered with French DJ, producer and manager Pedro Winter, aka, Busy P. Busy P became famous for initially managing Daft Punk, before creating Ed Banger Records which has discovered and subsequently propelled various French artists and DJs. Nike Air Force 1 Hyperstrike Scarr’s Pizza is considered to be 1 of only 48 pairs. This Air Force 1 Hyperstrike was dropped in 2019 to friends and family of the much-loved New York Lower East Side establishment,&nbsp;Scarr’s Pizza.&nbsp;&nbsp;Founder Scarr Pimental and team member Audie Villot had the idea to create an Air Force 1 that reflected the quality of the OG versions they grew up with and to commemorate their home city. Two years later, with the support of DJ Clark Kent, the unique collaboration with Nike was celebrated among the community who helped fuel their success.&nbsp;&nbsp; Pimental and Villot brought the same meticulousness to their city’s signature sneaker, as they do to their city’s signature food. Having referenced their personal collections for the build, they ensured the double-stacked mismatched Swoosh logos measured one inch at the base - a detail that would be noted by true OG aficionados. The shoe is embroidered with Scarr’s Pizza logos at the heel and Orchard street address on the tongue. The phone number is printed in 3M material at the forefoot. Phrases ‘We Got This’ and ‘Word is Bond’ are embroidered on the upper lips and ‘Got Pies’ on the underside of each tongue. The insoles are embroidered with personalized messages from Scarr’s and DJ Clark Kent. Released in 2011, the limited-edition Air Force 1 pays tribute to the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Rabbit. The AF1 x YOT (“Year of The”) began in 2002 and continues annually in conjunction with the Chinese New Year. The Nike Air Force 1 Low Supreme Year Of The Rabbit models the classic silhouette with designs dedicated to the Chinese zodiac of the year. Inspired by the popular Shanghai candy, White Rabbit, the pair borrows inspiration from the color scheme of the sweets. The sleek design features shades of white on a premium leather upper, with off-white suede paneling and a toe box that sits atop a translucent white midsole. The fur-like chenille Swoosh is red on the lateral side and blue on the medial and is complemented by a vivid blue topline, waxed blue laces and a “2011” deubré to match.
