Conceived in 1928, the present work was casted after 7.11.1938 and is one of 38 posthumous bronzes, possibly after 1952. _________________________________________________________ Ernst Barlach 1870 - 1938 Der singende Mann beschriftet und gestempelt mit dem Giesserstempel H. Noack Berlin Bronze Höhe: 49.5 cm.; 19½ in. Konzipiert 1928, dieses Werk wurde nach dem 7.11.1938 gegossen und ist eine von 38 posthum entstandenen Bronzen, möglicherweise nach 1952.
