About the Museum

The History Museum at the Castle aims to inspire appreciation for the rich history of the Fox River Valley area communities in Wisconsin through collections, exhibits and education. Operated by the Outagamie County Historical Society, the museum’s collections represent the history of the surrounding communities from the 1840s to the present day. The museum presents educational programming and exhibits for all ages, weaving national and local events and periods together to provide perspective and local relevance. The museum building was originally a Masonic temple built in 1923 in a Norman Revival style. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
