Era-defining hallmarks of car culture
Located in Newport, Rhode Island, the Audrain Automobile Museum preserves and presents automotive history while engaging the greater community. Established in 2014, the museum transformed the historic Audrain Building, one of four commercial Gilded Age buildings that form an architecturally significant block on Bellevue Avenue, among Newport’s renowned historic districts. Access to a collection of more than 400 cars and motorcycles enables the Audrain to stage four thematic exhibitions a year. An impressive range of historically important automobiles, from Brass Era pre-war cars to 2000s supercars, supports the museum’s mission to reach audiences across generations and interests. Each autumn, the prestigious Audrain Newport Concours and Motor Week, held nearby at the Breakers, draws some of the finest automobiles and car enthusiasts from around the world.
