Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum

Founded in 1998, the Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum houses the private collection of Sheikh Faisal and aims to preserve and explore Islamic cultural heritage. The museum consists of three buildings within a historic fort made of local stone in Al Samriya. The collection was developed over five decades and includes over 15,000 artifacts across four primary themes: Islamic art, Qatar heritage, vehicles, and coins and currency. The museum develops exhibitions and educational programs designed to enhance knowledge and share the vast collection with the local community as well as regional and international visitors. Visitors to the museum can also enjoy a café and gift shop.
