About the Museum
At the museum No Hero, it's not the collector who is central, but the enjoyment of art, preferably in an international context. That is why in 2007 the No Hero Foundation was established. Too often at that time the collectors were put down by the media as real heroes and that was absolutely not the intention of the collector of this collection.
He wanted to share his collection with the public in order to be able to enjoy art together with visitors.
The foundation has two important objectives, namely;
- Managing the No Hero collection
- Promoting and stimulating art activities in East Netherlands
Because the museum collection is based on the No Hero collection, the name Museum No Hero has been chosen.
