About the Museum

Thanks to the interest and support of the ICO Foundation for contemporary Spanish art in recent years and to a selection, study and training of the pieces, the ICO Collections have been set up, which undoubtedly are one of the best representative sets of the trajectory of twentieth-century Spanish art, as demonstrated by the active lending policy carried out in collaboration with numerous institutions.

Since 2012, the ICO Foundation has taken up the exhibition line focused on the field of architecture and urban planning for the realization of its temporary exhibitions, around three thematic axes: the role of architecture in the face of great problems and challenges; architecture and urbanism from the perspective of photography and the great figures, schools or currents of contemporary architecture. Around the temporary exhibitions, the ICO Museum develops didactic activities aimed at children and young people, and guided and accompanied visits , aimed at the adult public, with the intention of completing and deepening the discourse of each of the exhibitions.
