About the Museum
The Museo del Tiempo is a unique institution in Mexico, dedicated to divulge the history of time and its measurement through the repair, restoration and exhibition of antique clocks. It has a permanent display of mechanical watches from the beginning of the eighteenth century, as well as various antiques related to the history of music, mechanical devices, electrical appliances and historic furniture. Through its facilities, the visitor can make a visual tour and listen to original melodies in old music players, from a nineteenth-century photograph, a musical box of the nineteenth century, gramophones from the beginning of the twentieth century, the first radios or even a Rockola of the 30's.
