About the Museum

The Kuala Lumpur City Gallery highlights the city’s history through miniatures and is located in central historic Kuala Lumpur in Independence Square. The highlight of the gallery is “The Spectacular City Model Show”, which measures 40 x 50 feet and illustrates the city’s past, present and future through a light and sound presentation. The gallery also has a collection of photographs and paintings that depict the city’s history, and serves as a visitor center for tourists.
It was founded and currently owned by ARCH. ARCH was started in 1989 in order to create architectural models in miniature. It has expanded to a brand that designs and produces unique gifts highlighting Malaysian sites. It strives to bring greater appreciation to Malaysian culture and heritage through its art products.
