About the Museum
The Glasnevin Cemetery Museum in Dublin, Ireland is both the guardian and storyteller for over 1.5 million people. The museum explores how these people helped shape the Ireland of today. The museum’s exhibits include Ireland and the Great Flu 1918-1919, which killed thousands of people in Ireland and had a significant impact on the Glasnevin Cemetery, the City of Dead, which examines the history of the cemetery, and the Interactive Timeline, which allows visitors to get a glimpse of Glasnevin past and present. A variety of thematic tours are offered to visitors.
