The Europees Keramisch Werkcentrum (EKWC), where renowned artists and promising new talents can experiment with clay to their heart’s desire, is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary. To mark this event Gemeentemuseum Den Haag will select installations made by six diverse Dutch artists who combine ceramics with other materials, or experiment with new techniques in surprising way. Each installation is like a personal universe with its own laws and rules combining both art and craft.
