About the Museum
This centre for contemporary art is located in La Boca, a vibrant community just south of Buenos Aires. Since 1996, the foundation has played a significant role in revitalising the country's artistic profile through its compelling programmes and exhibitions, which regularly bring major international works to the Argentinian public. The scope embraces three areas: Argentinian and Latin American art, international, historical and contemporary art and finally, emerging art. Its location and architecture juxtapose contemporary design with the local landscape and aesthetic, while the centre itself supports curatorial projects that find new ways to engage the community.
